I'm D. Jay.
The default path isn't the only path.
If you've read One Piece, you'll understand the D in my name.
From Hong Kong to Australia, then to the UK; from property, finance and education to AI today. Every step was walked by learning and doing at the same time.
A working holiday in Australia.
Before Australia, I thought what a person could do was already fixed. There, I found that ability can be trained. A fixed mindset became a growth mindset. The three paths that followed all started from that moment.
Thirty seconds to meet D. Jay.

Everything I know was built from books and work together. Read it, use it; use it, read again. No exceptions.
From studying property to renovating with my own hands
While working in property management in Hong Kong, for international property groups, a shopping mall and high-end residential buildings, I studied for a Master of Housing Management and became a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH). The problems I met by day, I looked up in books at night.
In the UK, I studied UK property law while managing residential property in Birmingham. Here you live in a whole house, and repairs and renovation are expensive, so I learned British building standards and regulations while doing renovation work with my own hands. Only after doing it did I really understand what is worth paying for and what isn't.
See the house frameworkFrom studying business to seeing how lending works
At university I studied Business Studies, with a minor in Financial Services. Then I went into banking and saw for myself how lending decisions are made.
After that, I learned about money one book and one YouTube video at a time. I earned the CeMAP UK mortgage qualification, and in mortgage work I saw how a family's finances and its home meet in the same decision.
See the finance frameworkFrom studying Montessori to teaching my own children
I completed AMS Montessori teacher training, with teaching practice alongside. Then I used the same principles with my own two children.
See the education frameworkThree paths, one method.
Property, finance, education: they look like three things, but I have only one way of learning. Read, do, adjust, all at the same time.
I don't believe in reading without using, or in experience without reading. Read it, then do it. Doing shows you what's wrong. Then read again, and adjust.

Turning experience into the power to change the future
Today I'm a Transformation Engineer, using AI and automation to help organisations change how they work.
The way I learn hasn't changed: read and do at the same time. I studied Harvard's CS50 and a range of AI courses. By day I turn them into systems that really run; at night I keep experimenting on the AI server at home. The images and films on this site were made there.
The road behind me has become today's foundation. Property taught me to see systems, finance to see the long term, education to see people. Technology changes every day, but before you change anything, you first have to understand the people and the system.
I want to use this knowledge to change my own family's future first, then share the road I've walked to help you, reading this site.
Three independences, one home.
After arriving in the UK, I found every decision had to be learned again: where to live, what to do with money, how the children would go to school. My Hong Kong friends were asking the same questions.
What people lacked wasn't information but a compass: a framework connecting finance, home and education.
The word “House” is a deliberate double meaning: a house, and a home. The House Solutions exists to help every Hong Kong family build passive income themselves and truly settle in this land.
- Finance: Economic independence · building passive income yourself, depending on no one
- House: Protection · a home that holds through the storm, so one shock doesn't take everything
- Education: Independent mind · children who think for themselves, not led by either side
Together they make a home no one can take away. The House Solutions shares the road I've walked, free, with other families.
Why did nobody teach you this?
There's never a shortage of information. What's missing is someone willing to teach you the methods that work best but earn nothing.
Anxiety sells better than calm
The most-watched content is usually the most emotionally stirring. “Win at the starting line” always gets more clicks than “let children explore”. Solid knowledge gets buried in the noise.
Writing well isn't the same as having done it
Today AI can write a professional-looking article in minutes. I use AI every day myself, so I know: tools make writing easy, but they can't write experience nobody has had. The question isn't whether it's well written, but whether the person has actually done it.
People who approach you usually have their own reasons
The people who care most about you are your family. But who calls you most? Usually sales calls and scams. Methods that are truly good for you are rarely pushed on you, because there's no money in it.
The methods that work best often earn no fees
The finance industry often says investing yourself is too dangerous; leave it to the experts. But over the long run, most actively managed funds underperform a simple index. The way to earn your management fees and the way to build your wealth aren't necessarily the same.
Every field has a method that works but that nobody has a reason to promote. The House Solutions shares exactly these.
From The Richest Man in Babylon to Buffett's snowball
Simple and long-term, with no management fee to collect.
Property, finance and renovation, seen together
Each industry guards only its own patch.
Montessori
No tutoring centre needed, so no course to sell.
I'm not an expert.
I'm just someone who came to the UK a few years before you.
I share what I've learned,
then you forge a path of your own.
